What to Bring
Morzine is in the mountains and being at 1000m it can sometimes be difficult to predict the weather. Generally, summers are warm and pleasant however, we recommend bringing layers of clothing including raincoats so you are prepared for any scenario. As they say, there is no such thing as bad weather, just poor clothing choices! See the Cycling checklist for a comprehensive list of suggested kit.
What to Expect
Your hosts are enthusiastic and experienced cyclists. Who will meet you on your arrival and help you to settle in. They will give you plenty of information before a ride so you can be prepared and know what lies ahead. On the road they will encourage and assist you to have the best experience possible.
On arrival
When you first arrive at the chalet, you will be able settle into your room, unpack and unwind. The first day is always an easy one. The Buzz team will be on hand to help you unpack your bike or help set up your hire bike. You may like to take it for a short spin to Lac Montriond, or take a gentle walk around the village to stretch your legs. A welcome dinner is great way to meet the hosts and fellow guests and hear about the plans for during your stay.
Before a ride
Each day the Buzz team will provide you with an abundance of information about the cycle routes, climb profiles and general goings on. Whenever in doubt there is someone from eh team there to help, and there is never such a thing as a silly question.
On the road
In France we cycle on the right. Being in the Alps there will be hills and climbs, but what goes up must come down. The Buzz team will lead you on some stunning rides, with lots of encouragement and support along the way. On long or challenging cycle routes we have the option to take our support vehicle.
Post Ride
After a ride, relax in comfort back at the chalet. There are mat and foam rollers for cool downs and stretching. The chalet is your home away from home so relax and enjoy.

Sports nutrition products are designed to make it quick and easy for you to have the right fuel. There are products for use before exercise (to allow you to perform at your maximal ability you need to get to the start line fully fuelled and properly hydrated), during exercise (you must replenish your energy stores and top up on fluids during exercise in order to achieve your personal goals) and after exercise (the right approach to recovery will help you to properly adapt to your training and to achieve maximal results)
Travelling with a Bike
If travelling with your bike, make sure to check with the airline about weight and size restrictions. Be sure to take care when you pack it so it is protected when being handled.

Insurance
All clients must have a comprehensive and valid multi sports insurance policy in place when they arrive and during their stay with Buzz.
It is a condition of our holidays that you are covered by a medical and personal accident insurance policy that includes repatriation to your home country and includes cover for road cycling.

Massage & Physio
You can relieve aching muscles with a sports massage or if a niggling injury is hampering your performance, a physiotherapy session can be arranged.
The team at Mountain Rehab are on hand in their treatment rooms in Morzine, or can come to see you at to the chalet.

Cycling in the Alps is most enjoyable when you have some cycling experience and a decent level of fitness.
